Privacy policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains which data we process when you use this website, send us an enquiry or book a participation package, and what rights you have. It is based on the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Overview: what we process

• Visiting the website: technical access data (server log files).
• Settings in your browser: your language choice and cookie choice.
• Enquiry forms: the details you enter.
• Bookings: billing and contact details and the packages you book.
• WhatsApp: only if you choose to contact us there.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social-media plug-ins. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own server, so no data is passed to Google or other content networks when you load a page.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Türkticaret.Net (turkticaret.net), İstanbul, Türkiye. When you visit a page, the server automatically records: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (KVKK Art. 5 (2) (f); GDPR Art. 6 (1) (f) – legitimate interest in a stable and secure website). Log files are kept only as long as needed for these purposes and are deleted regularly, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

4. Settings stored in your browser (local storage)

We store two entries in your browser’s local storage: tls-lang (your language, EN or TR) and tls-consent (your cookie choice and its date, kept for 12 months). These are strictly necessary for the service you request. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

5. Cookie consent

On your first visit we ask which optional categories (analytics, marketing) you allow. Optional technologies are only activated after your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5 (1); GDPR Art. 6 (1) (a)). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. At present no optional technologies are in use; if we add any, we will list them here.

6. Enquiry forms

When you send a form, we process the details you enter (e.g. company, name, email, phone, how you want to take part, your message). They are sent to us by email to answer your request and prepare an offer (KVKK Art. 5 (2) (c); GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b) – steps prior to a contract). Mandatory fields are marked. We delete enquiries that do not lead to a contract after 12 months, unless statutory retention periods apply.

7. Bookings and payment by bank transfer

When you book a package we process: company, contact name, email, phone, billing address, country, tax number, purchase-order number, the booked packages, the booking reference and the amount. We need these data to conclude and perform the contract, issue invoices and match your bank transfer (KVKK Art. 5 (2) (c) and (ç); GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c)). You receive a confirmation email with our bank details. Payments are made by bank transfer to our accounts at Garanti BBVA; we do not process card data. Booking and invoicing data are retained for as long as commercial and tax law requires (up to 10 years).

8. Contact via WhatsApp

If you click a WhatsApp button, you leave our website and WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms) processes your data under its own privacy policy, which may include transfers abroad. We use the messages you send us only to handle your request. If you prefer, contact us by email instead.

9. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Maps

Our website only contains simple links. No data is transferred to these services until you click a link.

10. Recipients and transfers

Within our company, only the persons who handle your request or booking have access to your data. External recipients are: our hosting and email provider, our bank for incoming payments, and our accountant and authorities where we are legally obliged. At the event, exhibitor, speaker and sponsor company names may be published in the programme and event communications as part of the booked service. Our servers are located in Türkiye. For visitors from the EU/EEA: there is no EU adequacy decision for Türkiye; we transfer data there because it is necessary to answer your request and to perform the contract you conclude with us (GDPR Art. 49 (1) (b)).

11. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Enquiries: 12 months after the last contact. Booking and accounting records: up to 10 years under commercial and tax law. Server logs: see section 3.

12. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed and to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request rectification or erasure, to object to results arising solely from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Visitors from the EU also have the rights under GDPR Art. 15–21 (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, email us at yalcin.avci@longevityshow.co.uk; we will reply within 30 days at the latest.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) or, if you live in the EU, with the data protection authority of your country.

13. Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection (TLS/HTTPS). We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

14. Changes

We will update this policy if our website or processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
